Our Mission:

We believe that Jesus is the source, sustainer, and meaning of all of creation and human life. Central to our mission is Jesus' universal invitation: "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." The church is the gathered community of the people of God—those who have been saved solely through the grace of God through union with Christ's death and resurrection by immersion in the waters of baptism, together learn from Jesus to lead a life well-lived. The church's mission is to invite all of humanity into this life. We invite you to join us in seeking to be limbs of the body of Christ.

What We Believe:

The people of God at Holland Street confess the ancient beliefs of the church, summed up in the Apostles' Creed.

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal Church,
the communion of the saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
